These buildings are very strong and will last a long time, but the homeowner needs to seal the siding with a stain, paint or sealer of choice. Buildings that are over 160 sqft and require a permit will need stamped lumber and 24” OC studs. Our prices for Econo model sheds are not including costs associated with upgrades needed for permitting over 160Sqft buildings. We will use roughcut lumber but it is graded and good as stamped for permitting. We have sold many of these buildings over the last 5 years with no issues. They are strong, study buildings that will last if properly stained and sealed. 12′ wide buildings are framed 11’6″ and have a total width of 11’10” to keep within MTO width restrictions for delivering on most local highways, without needing a Pilot Car Service.
Economy Sheds include a rough cut frame, 4×4 skids. Galvalume steel roof and either planed or rough pine board and batten siding. We put vents in our Econo sheds but do not offer alot of the upgrades that are available in Utility buildings. Inquire with questions.
Our Utility Sheds come standard with steel roofing, board and batten and LP Smartside siding stained colour of choice. These buildings have a 6″ overhang on the eaves and the gable ends. You can easily customize your Utility Shed with windows, vents, second doors, gable end overhangs, porches, pressure treated framing, extra wall height, the list is endless. Steel siding, tongue and groove pine and cedar, cabin profile wood or vinyl siding are all options with costs associated. All prices are plus HST. Delivery between Bruce Mines and SSM and setup is free on customers level foundation.
